Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am the owner of Pinnacle Labradoodles. We are a veteran and family run operation located in San Antonio, Texas dedicated to the integrity, development, and preservation of the Australian Labradoodle.
Family is the key word in our breeding program. Our Australian Labradoodles are not raised in kennels and they do not live a constrained life. They are part of our family and are loved by every member of my family, from infants to grandparents. They go with us on family vacations, walks, hikes, and fun road trips. We breed for the best example of the Australian Labradoodle and all our puppies are wanted and loved. Pinnacle Labradoodles breeds a select number of litters a year to ensure the highest standards, health, and temperament of our mamas and puppies.

Why an Australian Labradoodle?
Twelve years ago I met my first Australian Labradoodle while living in Washington D.C. I immediately stopped the owner to inquire about her "goldendoodle". It was then I learned that her doodle was not a goldendoodle but rather an Australian Labradoodle. I was so enthralled by our chance meeting that I took to learn everything I could about the breed.

Over the next several years, I combed the internet cooing over beautiful pictures of Australian Labradoodles. I spoke to family, friends, and established Australian Labradoodle breeders about the breed and also about breeding.

I knew when the time was right, I would commit to breeding my own Australian Labradoodles. Most importantly, under the tutelage of Charl from Shadow Mountain Australian Labradoodles to ensure that when I start, I had the very best pedigree and mentorship to take the breed forward.
What is an Australian Labradoodle?
The Australian Labradoodle origin (poodle x labrador) was created in the 1980's by a Royal Guide Dogs Association trainer who sought to create an allergy-friendly service dog. The initial litters produced were varied in size, temperament, and coat. These cross inconsistencies were not ideal.

Two Australian Labradoodle breeders, Tegan Park and Rutland Manor, took the original concept of the labradoodle and purposely infused the Irish Water Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel. These infused lines are became the Australian Labradoodle.

The Australian Labradoodle (ALD) has been carefully developed, bred over generations with a focus on temperament, coat quality, and soundness through meticulous health testing and planned litters.

Australian Labradoodles are mutigenerational meaning both parents were ALDs.​

No other "doodle" breed has been developed over generations such as the ALD.

Why the Australian Labradoodle is Perfect
This is an amazing breed that will suit just about any family situation. ALDs are perfect for allergy suffers (such as myself) and do not shed. They are perfect for laid-back households as well as active households. With proper exercise, they are perfect for apartment living. Australian Labradoodles are beautiful, versatile, and extremely child-friendly. They are eager to love and are the perfect addition to your family.
